An ESG-aligned design strategy incorporates resilience measures: improved drainage, robust foundation engineering, wildlife-safe fencing, erosion control, and temperature-resistant electrical components. From an M&A perspective, ESG performance is becoming a valuation driver. Buyers evaluate community relationships, environmental compliance history, social-impact programs, and governance structures. Those who ignore it will face resistance, regulatory tightening, and erosion of political support for their assets.
